Lessons learned from Canadian microgrid projects represented a unique opportunity for Canada and Nigeria to work together to match applicable technologies, facilitate new business relationships, mitigate project development risks, and increase the pace of microgrid construction in Nigeria.

Over the course of this program, DEC had the pleasure of connecting Canadian microgrid technologies to export opportunities in the Nigerian market through a series of presentations and curated B2B meetings. Throughout the program it was clear that the network of Nigerian microgrid project developers is rapidly growing and active leadership from key industry players is accelerating microgrid project developments.
