DEC works with the Standards Council of Canada and Standards Development Organisations (SDOs) to ensure that next generation energy systems are designed using principles of equity, resiliency and sustainability.
GOALS:
To build industry consensus as it relates to standards and best practices;
Strengthen the lines of communication between industry stakeholders and Standards Development Organisation (SDOs) and policy makers;
To support SDOs in the development of a national technical specification that defines commonly used industry terms.
