The ERA Research in Action event is designed to bring together representatives from industry with post-secondary researchers to explore how current challenges can be addressed through emerging innovation. 

This engaging virtual event will shine a spotlight on some of the most innovative technology-based research projects currently underway at the University of Alberta and University of Calgary. Research in Action is designed to connect and align the expertise of world-class researchers with industry leaders to define challenges, share expertise and explore opportunities.  

The virtual event takes place May 10, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will include eight research teams providing overviews of their applied research, giving attendees the chance to understand how these potential solutions could meet current challenges. Each presentation will be followed by an interactive Q&A session encouraging further discovery and meaningful discussion.
