This online class is delivered in four 2-hour sessions:

  • Tuesday, March 22, 6:30–8:30 p.m. MT

  • Thursday, March 24, 6:30–8:30 p.m. MT

  • Tuesday, March 29, 6:30–8:30 p.m. MT

  • Thursday, March 31, 6:30–8:30 p.m. MT

The 'Contracts for the Solar Industry' course objective is to mitigate the risks of solar installations for all parties involved. Mitigation includes ensuring project details and variables are fully understood within the contract to help control construction costs and minimize scope of work issues. This course is for people signing or writing construction contracts, and will provide guidance on how to comply with the Alberta Solar Business Code of Conduct and the basics of Canadian Contract Law. This course runs 4 nights: March 22, 24, 29 & 31 from 6:30-8:30pm MT.
