September 24, 26, and October 1 & 3; 7-9 p.m. MT
In this course, you will learn:
The essential elements of a contract
Risk identification and mitigation
How to write a Scope of Work for solar PV projects and gather all the supporting details.
How to structure the pricing
How to comply with the Alberta Solar Business Code of Conduct
Plus contract bidding and administration
This course focuses primarily on “Construction” contracts by clarifying and elaborating project details, risks, and variables. Proper technical details and participant responsibilities can become the core of successful contracts. This course also introduces non-technical, legal considerations, but these require more time than we have in the course.
