Canada wants to go all in on electrification, which means doubling the size of the power grid – a massive undertaking. This takes place against a backdrop of rising energy prices and rates of inflation not seen for a generation, in a country that remains heavily reliant on the use of fossil fuels. At present, there is a disconnect between energy transition policies and on the ground realities, including a shortage of the skilled workers that are needed to achieve the country’s electrification goals.
Hosted by The Energy Roundtable, this free live virtual event will gather energy sector leaders to discuss how to deliver the skilled work force that is needed to electrify Canada.
