YWE Acumen Series: Emerging Energy

YWE Acumen Series - Emerging Energy Virtual Event.jpg

Geothermal, Lithium and Hydrogen have the potential to transform our energy system and be a major contributor to Alberta's Recovery Plan.

As the world continues to grapple with our new COVID-19 reality, there is sustained pressure to decarbonize towards the goal of net-zero by 2050. Lithium, Geothermal and Hydrogen all have the potential to transform our energy system and be a major contributor to Alberta’s Recovery Plan. Built on the backbone of Oil and Gas, these emerging energy segments are helping us look at oil and gas assets in a new way – with improved sustainability. Alberta has the natural resources, the human capital, and the technologies to be a leader globally.

Join YWE as we explore the emerging energy segments of Lithium, Geothermal and Hydrogen from these key female leaders. In this event, the panelists will share an overview of their emerging energy segment, and how their contributions are propelling Alberta towards an evolving energy future.
