Project Funding Opportunity

Are you a technology developer, research and development organisation, or post secondary institution with a decentralised energy project that will be researched, piloted, or demonstrated and ultimately implemented in Alberta?

On behalf of several funding partners, DEC is seeking projects that develop or advance innovations at Technology Readiness Levels between 3 and 9. Ideal projects are focused on enabling the optimisation of distributed power grids, microgrids, and off grid energy solutions. Ideal projects would have total costs between $200,000 and $5 million. Projects that are more likely to be funded are partially supported by the applicant and have a strong end-user partnership already established.
