Canada-Caribbean Microgrid Accelerator

Tap into real microgrid project opportunities with Decentralised Energy Canada and the Rocky Mountain Institute!

For over five years Decentralised Energy Canada (DEC) and the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) have been collaborating to accelerate the transition to resilient, efficient and affordable energy systems. This program will stimulate international trade and leverage the competitiveness of Canada's decentralised energy industry. Program funding has been generously provided by Global Affairs Canada's CanExport Program.

The program's primary objective is to connect quality Canadian companies to real microgrid project opportunities in the Caribbean and to facilitate the development of meaningful business partnerships. We are inviting Caribbean microgrid stakeholders and Canadian microgrid solution providers to participate in this program.

Canadian companies are required to submit their contact information and a brief description of the microgrid technology or service they offer.

Caribbean microgrid stakeholders, such as community planners, hospitals, schools, investors and government are required to submit their contact information and a brief description of their interest in microgrids and the role they play in supporting microgrid developments.

Outcomes of this program include new business partnerships and advancement of microgrid projects in the Caribbean.
