Since October 2021, CICE has demonstrated a proven track record for catalyzing early-stage investment, fast-tracking the scale-up of clean energy innovation across BC. With $22.6 million invested in 30+ projects valued at over $140.6 million, CICE supports changemakers who drive the creation of good jobs, diversity and a green economy.
Through its first 2024 call for innovation, CICE anticipates awarding up to $10 million in non-dilutive funding for clean energy projects that address ‘hard to decarbonize’ challenges across industries such as forestry, mining, transportation, agriculture and technology. Eligible projects and innovations include both new technologies and innovation in business processes that are at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 4-9.
