DIANA Challenges: Energy Resilience - Harnessing Microgrid Tech for Disaster & Conflict Recovery

There is an urgent need for more reliable, resilient and efficient energy solutions – particularly in the aftermath of natural hashtag#disasters or in hashtag#conflict zones. hashtag#ClimateChange and its consequences will only make that need greater.
DIANA is seeking technology hashtag#solutions that can meet supply demands reliably. Of interest are technologies and systems that are capable of scaling and that are interoperable with other similar systems; hashtag#renewable power generation; power storage; hardware and software for adaptive and intelligent power conditioning and management; and technologies for the detection and protection of the physical system and components from malicious cyber-attack.
That might mean technologies or applications which facilitate modular hashtag#microgrids – but it might just as well mean new ways of generating or storing energy. Maybe it’s about hashtag#hardware or hashtag#software to facilitate adaptive and intelligent power conditioning and management, or new ways of detecting and preventing malicious hashtag#cyberattacks on our energy hashtag#infrastructure. We don’t know. That’s why we want your help!
