ERA's Annual Report now available online

ERA is pleased to release Future Focused, its 2022-23 Annual Report. In 2022-2023, ERA announced $140 million in funding to 33 projects worth a combined value of $835 million. We also approved an additional $80 million in funding that we will be allocating in the coming fiscal year. These investments are advancing the circular economy in the province, helping Alberta’s industrial sector reduce emissions and improve competitiveness, and accelerating the critical CCUS and hydrogen technologies.

Beyond its investments, ERA was celebrated this year for its work in the cleantech space. ERA was announced as co-host of the Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT-17) conference in Calgary in October of 2024 and was named Funder of the Year at Foresight Canada's inaugural Alberta Cleantech Awards. We also convened roundtables on key technology areas including energy storage and CCUS, shared key findings from 10 completed projects, and published a white paper that examined hydrogen export opportunities.
