Michael Holland

A former diplomat with extensive public policy and political experience, Michael is a seasoned government relations and communications professional. Michael’s career has seen him working to support business and government programs across the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East. A recent graduate of the MSc in Sustainable Energy Development, his research focused on the conditions to improve the investment climate for renewables in Alberta. Michael has a passion for solutions-led climate action. He is looking to support collaboration in the renewables industry and to advocate on behalf of the sector. Michael’s early career saw him producing coastal and environmental surveys for offshore projects (and impact assessment), including oil and gas, and the first generation of offshore wind in the UK.
