Occam’s Technologies Inc. is a developer of novel fuel cell power plants that enable the complete capture of the produced carbon dioxide at very efficient capture costs. The Occam’s business model enables the monetization of four different revenue streams:
Electricity
High purity carbon dioxide
Carbon credits from efficient power production
Pure water for either domestic or commercial use.
The flexibility of these decentralized power systems also enables the potential for syn-gas to also become a valuable by-product of electricity generation.
The team is presently in the early stages of preparing a commercial demonstration of the technology, which will prove both the operability of the integrated system and the viability of each revenue stream. Discussions with different stakeholders for power off-take agreements, site locations, and carbon dioxide or syn-gas utility are ongoing, and the team is keen to expand its network with interested parties.
