RenuWell

The RenuWell project combines proven technologies and unusual allies to solve significant challenges in Alberta and beyond. The RenuWell project will reduce the high up-front costs of renewable energy development by utilizing disturbed land and existing infrastructure such as access roads, graded well pads and electrical infrastructure. It will also reduce the high overhead costs associated with smaller-scale networked projects and enable a rapid transition to a cost-competitive distributed system where generation capacity is closer to the energy consumer.

The RenuWell team is comprised of leading oil industry and renewable energy industry experts allied with partner firms, aboriginal groups and relying on the resources of key institutions, especially in Alberta and British Columbia.
