  • The AESO is hosting a Stakeholder Session October 8th on the Development of the Proposed Amended Section 505.2 regarding Performance Criteria for the Generating Unit Owner's Contribution ("GUOC") refund.

  • ENMAX Generation Portfolio Inc. submitted a Letter of Enquiry to the AUC requesting amendment to Approval 24897-D02-2019 to reflect an increase in total output from 860MW to 900 MW due to gas turbine blade replacement.

  • The AESO is hosting a Technical Information Session for Bulk and Regional Tariff Design on October 14 prior to its Stakeholder Engagement Session 3 scheduled for October 22 ,2020. Stakeholders may present alternative rate design options for the Bulk and Regional Tariff Design as part of Session 3 as set out in the Proposal Guidelines.

  • Capital Power LP, through it's general partner Capital Power Generation Services Inc., applied to the AUC (AUC Proceeding 25909) to amend the 300 MW Whitla 1 &2 Project Approval (AUC Approval 25780-D02-2020) with the addition of  Whitla Wind 3 Project, a 54 MW wind project to be completed by December 31, 2021 in parallel with the 97.2 MW Whitla 2 Project.

  • BHEC-RES Alberta G.P. Inc. applied (AUC Proceeding 25915) to, in addition to addressing certain organizational items, extend the completion date of the Power Plant Approval and the Substation Permit and License (AUC Proceeding 22966) for its 400 MW Forty Mile Wind Power Project from December 1, 2020 to December 1, 2021. 

  • Capital Power entered stage one of the AESO's connection process with the 430 MW incremental Genesee Unit 1 repowering, having a planned in service date of March 1, 2023.
