The Science and Technology Internship Programme (STIP) programme is dedicated to breaking down barriers for youth in Canada in the natural resources sector. STIP is a wage subsidy programme designed to elevate or create green careers for youth in Canada in the natural resource sector. STIP does not have a minimum educational requirement, therefore we encourage all youth (15-30 year old) to apply-no minimum education required.

STIP strategically provides new green jobs and opportunities for youth and showcases national leadership in Natural Resources.

The STIP program aims to hire and mentor young people in the natural resources sector, particularly in the fields of energy, forestry, mining, earth sciences and clean technologies.

Internships with UNA-Canada will end March 2022. There is no deadline to apply, however there is limited funding available.
