Trane also provides energy storage systems. CALMAC IceBank® are thermal energy storage tanks that offer pre-engineered, factory-built reliability with tested, efficient and repeatable performance.  By adding thermal energy storage to an HVAC system we can reduce energy costs associated with comfort cooling by shifting equipment operation from high- to low-cost times of day.
