Verdis Synthetic Fuels

Verdis Synfuels profitably converts Municipal Solid Waste, medical waste, forestry waste or agricultural waste gas from any source into renewable and clean-burning Synfuelstm. This can include diesel, naphtha, aviation fuel and hydrogen.

We expect to begin construction of a first 500+ bbl/d plant in the Saltend Chemical Park in the UK this year producing diesel and naphtha. Planning permission has been received for 2 more 500 bbl/d lines producing diesel and aviation fuel for a nearby airport. We have also proposed to the City of Calgary to generate 830 bbl/d from Municipal Solid Wastes, including landfill gas, Black and Blue bin garbage, and sewage dry cake. This would reduce landfill GHG emissions by 12,000 tonnes per year and diesel tailpipe pollutants by 40% while proving ultra-clean renewable diesel for Calgary sanitation vehicles or city buses.

We have also begun discussions in Qatar for converting offshore associated gas into 12,000 bpd of naphtha and diesel and have a similar project on hold in Nigeria, pending full relaxation of COVID-19 measures. Finally, we are also fielding mobile plants to convert associated gas from fracked wells or otherwise stranded deposits, using mobile plants.

Verdis is a wholly owned Subsidiary of Canada Chemical Corporation in Calgary.
