Sharleen Gatcha is passionate advocate for women and energy professional with over 25 years of experience in various roles in the Alberta electricity industry. Sharleen recently joined Hardline Engineering as the Vice President, Business Development. She is the proud Founder and CEO of Women+Power, a not-for-profit organization that provides support to women that work in and with the power industry in Alberta, and the men who support them as allies.

Sharleen's first-hand experiences of the systemic challenges women face in the workplace, as well as those of the hardworking women around her, led her to establish Women+Power in 2019 which has since developed a community that provides opportunities for members to connect, exchange ideas, share information, learn more about the industry, mentor each other and communicate industry news, events, challenges and opportunities. One of her favorite topics of discussion is gender diversity and she is very excited to moderate the discussion taking place in September 21 and would encourage women and men to take the time to listen in!
