Arcus Power Corp is delighted to announce the recent publication of an article entitled “A Hybrid Model for Multi-Day-Ahead Electricity Price Forecasting considering Price Spikes” by our colleague Daniel Manfre Jaimes, MSc, P.Eng in the international, peer-reviewed, open access journal Forecasting MDPI.

For those in the electricity trading community, we believe this article holds significant relevance and practical value. As we all know, predicting price spikes in highly volatile electricity markets, particularly in regions like Alberta, presents a formidable challenge. However, mastering this aspect of forecasting is paramount in minimizing financial risks and optimizing market strategies for all stakeholders involved.

The article was written in collaboration with Dr. Hamidreza (Hamid) Zareipour, Dr. Mike Quashie and PhD candidate Manuel Zamudio Lopez.
