Bow Valley Green Energy Co-op Partners with Baymag and KCP Energy to Advance Solar Energy Generation

The Bow Valley Green Energy Co-op, Baymag Inc. and KCP Energy are thrilled to announce that they have reached an agreement on the financing, installation and operation of the largest ever solar array in the MD of Bighorn.

The 291 kW photovoltaic system will be installed on the rooftop of one of the process buildings at Baymag’s operation near Exshaw. This installation is anticipated to generate up to 300,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually and eliminate 240 Tonnes of C02e (Greenhouse Gas Emissions) from Alberta’s electricity grid each year.
