Regional Relief and Recovery Fund
This Fund helps businesses, organizations and communities relieve the economic impact of COVID-19 and prepare for recovery by:
mitigating financial pressures so that you can continue your operations and keep paying employees
supporting business projects to prepare now for a successful recovery
If your small- or medium-sized business or organization has received WD funding and COVID-19 is affecting your operations, you may be eligible to receive additional funding and/or flexible arrangements. Please contact your local WD office.
Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF) – funding requests up to $40,000
Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) will provide eligible small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with an interest-free repayable contribution of up to $40,000 to help alleviate financial hardship resulting from COVID-19. The objective of this program is to assist western Canadian SMEs that do not qualify for the Canadian Emergency Business Account (CEBA) program or the ‘RRRF – Community Futures Stream.’

To ensure that small businesses have access to the capital they need to see them through the current challenges resulting from COVID-19, Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) will provide eligible businesses with interest free repayable funding of up to $1,000,000 under the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).
